Green Apple VPO/Founder Cristofer Smith Bio:

In 2004, veteran athletic designer Cristofer Smith incorporated a new company called Green Apple. The company was pioneered with the vision to innovate and create new organic products for the active lifestyler. After many travels and extensive studies, Cristofer developed the first certified organic bamboo and cotton active apparel. Bamboo mixed with cotton was the most viable textile to mimic the technical abilities of petrol-chemical textiles (nylon & poly) used in nearly all athletic apparel, without the negative health side-effects or the negative environmental impact implications. In addition to being the most cost effective for the consumer, bamboo also proved to be the overall winner environmentally, as one of the world's fastest growing plants. The incredibly luxurious hand feel and soft, silky finish has made Bamboo a very popular choice for both the athletic and contemporary apparel marketplace.
